Art, fashion and networking at the Art Center
COHASSET - Cohasset got a little taste of Manhattan on Jan. 15, when over 100 professional women (and a few men), braved the cold to network at the South Shore Art Center, at an event hosted by the Downtown Women’s Club – South Shore Chapter. Attendees enjoyed cocktails while viewing a pre-opening of the current exhibit, “Trees,” a Gallery Artist Exhibition, juried by Emily Eveleth, and a fashion show put on by exhibition sponsor, Pink Tulip, and emceed by owner, Christine Nagle. COHASSET -The Cohasset Village business district has undergone several changes in recent months, though some of the names are familiar. David Bigley moved his All The Best natural foods store from the James Brook Crossing shops off Pleasant Street to 93 Ripley Road, the home for the past 32 years of Carousel Antiques. Read more
